Manchester City have now confirmed that Sergio Aguero will leave the club at the end of the season, MySportDab reports.
Aguero is Manchester City’s greatest-ever striker, with 257 goals scored across all competitions since he joined from Atletico Madrid for £35m.
The Argentine is also set to win another Premier League Title this season before he leaves.
On Monday, Aguero spoke with Coach Pep Guardiola and other members of Manchester City’s hierarchy.
City then announced in the night on Monday that he will leave the Etihad Stadium when his contract expires this summer.
Aguero will forever be a City legend after his crucial last goal secured their first league title on the last day of his debut season in England.
Aguero’s 181 Premier League league goals are the highest of any foreign player and he is seven goals close to third-placed Andrew Cole on the all-time scorers chart.
